Job Description

Youth Consultation Service (YCS) is a behavioral health and social services agency that has been caring for at risk children and families since 1918 in therapeutic residences, special education schools, in-home and in-community programs throughout NJ. Currently seeking a Case Manager The primary purpose of this position is to oversee residential supervisors/residential assistant staff and also handle the program Case Management. Duties include but not limited to: Document client observations and behaviors provide role modeling to adolescent population teach and interact provide recreation, promote socialization skills. To uphold and maintain the quality of service provided by the program/YCS. Be accessible to residents and families. Serve as resident advocates. Coordinate and oversee all programming for the clients of the facility including supervision of the recreation schedule for all shifts and special events. Participate in professional development. Participate in the assessment, evaluation and treatment to clients and families under supervision of a licensed social worker. Participate in counseling services to client, treatment home parents and natural parents. Provide referral and linkage to ancillary and or specialized treatment services and interventions. To assist youth and their families in identifying, accessing and receiving appropriate mental health and other services in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Requirements:
Bachelor's with 3 or more years of relevant experience working with youth or Master's with 1-year of related experience. Leadership, communication, creativity, teamwork, flexibility, positive outlook, ability to engage residents and build residents. YCS is
