Job Description

The Position Our Legal Support Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations and Facilities, collaborates with all departments and will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: File maintenance both in-house and offsite storage systems Monitor and respond to group emails Inventory, order and organize supplies Interprets instructions to organize, copy, bind, label, bates or exhibit stamp and/or tab documents or presentations as requested Prepare conference rooms for scheduled meetings (i.e. beverage/snack requests) Serve as a back-up to the Receptionist, as needed. Traveling to satellite offices may be required. Utilize word processing software to create, edit, print and store documents from hardcopy or dictation. Create customized documents, flow charts, forms, reports, presentations, spreadsheets and tables according to attorney's instructions. Utilize templates to format documents, assuring compliance with firm standards and/or court rules. Convert documents and/or electronically transmitted files into various formats/programs using scanners, or other forms of character recognition systems. Input numbers, or other data including client information, medical records, memberships, or licenses into computer at a very efficient rate of speed. Proofread all documents to assure accuracy. Verbally proof legal descriptions and banking documents with another word processor. Make Time & Billing entries and edits in the system per attorney request and according to the parameters. Other duties/tasks as assigned Behavioral Attributes The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is eager to learn and take initiative. The candidate will be able to take direction and feedback successfully to grow and operate independently, provide reports valuable critique. This person would be team oriented and able to be hands-on and assist in areas of need at given times. The person in this position will utilize sound judgement while handling sensitive client & firm information. Technical Attributes Knowledge with MS Office / Office 365 Ability to work in Excel and email regularly Analytical and problem-solving skills Moderate level of comparable typing/word processing and transcription experience in a legal environment. Advanced computer skills; advanced knowledge of complex formats and formulas, graphics, tables, computation, formatting and other applications in word processing and spreadsheets Other Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently or within a team and meet deadlines Strong work ethic and desire to help others Ability to build and maintain a positive climate and culture Compensation Salary commensurate with education and experience Health Insurance 410k plan Paid Vacation Location This position is located on site at KWGD's main office in Canton, Ohio (4775 Munson St., NW, Canton, OH 44718). Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
