The Regional Support Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the reconciliation of charts retrieved from provider offices within their assigned region. This role supports Chart Retrieval Specialists (CRS) by providing guidance, answering questions, and troubleshooting issues encountered during the retrieval process. Additional responsibilities include rescheduling provider appointments, conducting outbound calls to provider sites, and ensuring the timely completion of daily chart reconciliation activities.
- Duties and responsibilities
- + Respond to Chart Retrieval Specialist (CRS) questions regarding the retrieval process + Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve retrieval issues with CRSs and provider offices + Provide guidance to team members on EMR systems and retrieval processes + Assist with inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution for CRSs and provider offices + Complete reconciliation of prior-day scheduled appointments and uploaded medical charts + Provide coverage for assigned teams or regions in the absence of a Supervisor or Coordinator + Conduct outbound calls to provider offices for schedule changes and retrieval of outstanding inventory + Respond to and manage emails from the regional team in a timely manner + Document all provider interactions accurately within designated company applications + Complete all assigned training courses in a timely manner + Accurately log daily work hours in the time management system + Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct + Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned •Qualifications•+ High school diploma or equivalent required + 1-2 years of medical chart retrieval experience required + Experience in a healthcare or office environment preferred + Experience working with multiple EMR systems preferred + Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy + Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English + Strong organizational and time management skills + Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate information clearly and accurately + Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and consistent attendance + Ability to exercise sound judgment, patience, and professionalism + Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general troubleshooting + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment •Working conditions•+ Work is performed primarily indoors, with limited exposure to outdoor weather conditions + Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer + Frequent use of phone and headset for communication + May require the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment •Physical requirements•+ Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods throughout the workday + Frequent use of a computer, including typing and viewing screens, for 6-8 hours per day + Ability to use a telephone or headset for extended periods + Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds + Ability to reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions as needed + Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities + Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions Pay ranges for this job title may differ based on location, responsibilities, skills, experience, and other requirements of the role.
