Job Description
Position Sumary:
The Recovery Coach atWE LEVEL UP
is responsible for providing guidance and support to individuals in recovery from substance abuse or mental health challenges. The role involves empowering clients to achieve their personal recovery goals, fostering resilience, and facilitating their journey towards a healthier and more fulfilling life.Position Responsibilities:
Develop and implement personalized recovery plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals. Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to support clients in overcoming challenges and maintaining their recovery progress. Facilitate group sessions and workshops to promote peer support and shared learning among clients. Collaborate with therapists, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care. Monitor client progress and adjust recovery strategies as needed to ensure continued growth and success. Educate clients and their families about recovery principles, coping strategies, and available resources. Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress. Stay informed about the latest developments in recovery coaching and mental health support to continuously improve service delivery. Advocate for clients within the community and connect them with necessary resources and services. Uphold the values and mission ofWE LEVEL UP
by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all clients.Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field preferred.Required Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a recovery or mental health setting. Experience working directly with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders. Familiarity with evidence-based recovery practices and interventions. Proven track record of developing and implementing individualized recovery plans.Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong understanding of addiction and recovery processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Skilled in crisis intervention and conflict resolution. Proficient in maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
