Role:
The Resident Services Assistant is versatile team member responsible for enhancing the daily living experience of residents by providing support across multiple departments within the community. This position serves a valuable resource to residents and staff by assisting with hospitality services, housekeeping tasks, dining support, activities, resident engagement, and general community operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a professional demeanor. Experience in customer service or community support roles.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist residents and visitors, addressing questions and providing information about community services and policies. Coordinate and support resident programs, events, and activities to promote engagement and community involvement. Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, service requests, and follow-up actions to ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with property management and maintenance teams to communicate resident needs and facilitate service delivery. Assist with administrative tasks such as processing applications, managing correspondence, and updating resident databases. Responds to resident requests, assists with non-clinical tasks escorts residents throughout the community, supports resident's activities and helps maintain a safe welcoming and organized environment, The role works closely with caregivers and other departments to improve efficiency, enhance customer service, and ensure residents receive timely assistance while allowing caregivers to focus on direct resident care independence and overall quality of life.

The Resident Services Assistant utilizes strong communication skills daily to effectively interact with residents, colleagues, and external service providers, ensuring clear and respectful exchanges. Organizational skills are essential for managing multiple resident requests, scheduling events, Problem-solving abilities help the assistant address resident concerns promptly and find appropriate solutions. Tech skills to help residents with general functions of smart phones, resident's personal computers and other electronics... Additionally, empathy and cultural sensitivity are applied to create an inclusive environment that respects the diverse backgrounds of all residents.
