Our client is seeking a Licensed Social Worker - LICSW to work with older adults in a Long-term care Facility in Washington, DC, NW. This is a full schedule, 8:30 - 5, Monday-Friday.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
Oversee the Social Service Department in a Long-term care facility Supervise Social Workers in the department Manage the psychosocial, emotional and physical needs of the residents, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting assessments, and managing care plans. Lead Discharge planning. Facilitate communication between families and staff.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Masters degree in Social Work
DC LICSW
License Long-term care experience Supervisory experience
