About the role Alpha Omega is seeking a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our residential programs. The QIDP serves as a key leader responsible for case management, staff training, program implementation, and regulatory compliance, helping ensure individuals receive high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence, choice, and meaningful outcomes. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing employees, improving service quality, and building strong relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary team members. This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on both staff development and the lives of the individuals we support. What you'll do Serve as the primary case manager for assigned individuals receiving residential services. Coordinate services with guardians, support coordinators, physicians, therapists, behavioral health providers, and other community partners. Develop, implement, and monitor Personal Plans, behavior support strategies, and individualized programming. Train and coach employees on person-centered supports, program implementation, behavior plans, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Conduct competency reviews and provide ongoing feedback to ensure quality service delivery. Review documentation, program data, and outcome measures to ensure services are effective and implemented as designed. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and advocate for the needs and goals of individuals served. Monitor compliance with Illinois DHS regulations, Medicaid Waiver requirements, licensing standards, and company policies. Assist with quality assurance activities, audits, corrective action plans, and regulatory reviews. Support residential leadership teams in promoting consistency, accountability, and positive outcomes across services. Maintain accurate records, assessments, reports, and case management documentation. Foster a culture of continuous learning, professionalism, and person-centered care. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation Services, or a related field. Meet Illinois requirements to serve as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, employees, and interdisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Experience in residential, CILA, or community-based services. Experience providing employee training, coaching, or mentorship. Knowledge of person-centered planning, behavioral supports, and Illinois developmental disability regulations. Experience with quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and program monitoring. The pay range for this role is: 55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Thompson House)
