Adapt of Illinois, Inc., a social services organization, is seeking a motivated individual to fill a management position in a rehabilitative (nursing home) setting in Rockford, IL. As an Assistant Program Director in a long-term care center, you will assist the Program Director in facilitating and coordinating program services, implement recovery-based services, and help to provide oversight of a recovery-based program serving adults diagnosed with serious mental illness.
What We're Looking For:
    Education:
    Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other human services area;
    LPC/LSW/LCPC/LCSW
    eligible preferred
      Experience :
      Experience in working with a chronically and severely mentally ill adult population; Clinical experience in mental health; Supervisory experience preferred
        Skills :
        Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
        Key Responsibilities:
        • Advocating for the needs of an underserved population
        • Hiring, training, leading, supervising, and evaluating a team of mental health professionals
        • Completing referrals, screening and intake of new consumers
        • Consulting and liaising with clinical consultants and allied agencies
        • Facilitating community placement and coordinating other case management duties
        • Completing quality assurance tasks
        • Being available for on-call responsibilities
        Compensation and Benefits:
          Competitive Pay :
          Starting annual salary of $62,200.00 - $84,000 commensurate with experience.
            Generous Time Off:
            9 observed holidays and pro-rated paid time off starting at 3 weeks per year, increasing with tenure.
