Job Description

Director of Older Youth Services To provide consistent best practice program development to support the agency's Older Youth Transitional and Independent Living Services and stakeholders. The Director of Older Youth Services (OYS) supervises staff and develops strategies for consistent and effective support of clients and stakeholders. This involves staffing concerns, crises, and other needs of the OYS staff and clients. This position supports the agency's mission, vision, goals, and objectives. The Director of Older Youth Services will: Supervise staff and supervisors of the Older Youth Services program Provide recommendations to ensure duty to warn and adherence to best practice standards and risk management guidelines Prepare and review the Annual Review Report, Performance Quality Improvements, and other audit materials and databases for DCS OYS Administration Assist in the development and management of the OYS Annual Budget Oversee and ensure that OYS Service Standards are achieved Provide staff training in independent and transitional living services Regularly attend Monthly Regional OYS Staff Meetings and OYS Provider meetings
Position Requirements:
Master's Degree in social work, education, or related field and three years of related experience OR Bachelor's Degree in social work, education, or related field and eight years of related experience Child welfare supervisory and program supervision experience Strong supervisory and administrative skills Experience in the provision of transitional and independent living services The Villages of Indiana offers a team-oriented environment for case managers, social workers, and other child, family, and social services professionals with flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits package.
