  • Part-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Adults in Covenant Embrace (ACE) to lead our adult services program with passion and strategic vision.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development, management, and working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. This leadership role requires a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, building meaningful relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality support services. The Director will oversee program operations, supervise staff, and cultivate partnerships within the community to enhance the lives of adults served by the organization. Responsibilities Lead the planning, development, and implementation of adult programs that promote independence, social engagement, and personal growth for individuals with developmental disabilities. Manage day-to-day operations of the ACE program, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, state regulations, and best practices in behavioral health and social work. Supervise and support staff members through training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development to maintain a motivated and skilled team. Develop and monitor budgets for the program, ensuring efficient resource allocation while maintaining high service standards. Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and service providers to foster collaboration and support network development. Oversee program evaluation processes to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic enhancements. Ensure all administrative functions are completed accurately and timely, including documentation, reporting, and compliance records related to behavioral health services. Qualifications Proven management experience in social work or program management within organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs. Demonstrated ability to develop innovative programs tailored to adult populations with diverse needs. Strong working knowledge of behavioral health practices, social work principles, and best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience supervising staff members and fostering a positive team environment through mentorship and leadership. Exceptional relationship management skills to engage clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders effectively. Solid administrative experience including budgeting, documentation, compliance tracking, and report preparation. Background in program development with a focus on person-centered planning and community integration strategies is highly desirable.
