Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Social Services to lead our social services department. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support residents' emotional, social, and behavioral well-being. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, program development expertise, and a compassionate approach to working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Responsibilities Lead the social services team by providing supervision, mentorship, and strategic direction to ensure high-quality resident care. Develop, implement, and evaluate social service programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of residents, including those with developmental disabilities. Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners to promote collaborative care and support networks. Oversee case management activities, ensuring personalized care plans are created and effectively executed. Manage departmental budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to social services. Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts to address behavioral health concerns and facilitate access to community resources. Maintain accurate documentation of resident interactions, program outcomes, and compliance records in accordance with organizational policies. Skills Must be a Licensed Social Worker Excellent social work skills combined with the ability to lead teams through complex cases or behavioral challenges. Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs while maintaining a positive and proactive approach.
