With a rich history beginning in 1853, Bandera is a small town with a long-lasting cultural heritage. Bandera ISD, with a student population of over 2100 students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade, serves themunities of Bandera Proper, Pipe Creek, Lake Hills, Tarpley, and all points in between.

Description/Notes:
Bandera ISD is in search of an experienced and knowledgeable Human Resources & Student Services Director to join the BISD District Leadership Team.
Areas of Responsibility:
  • Human Resources (HR Management, Investigations, Staffing, Wage, Salary, & Stipend administration, Leave and Absences administration, Legal Counsel Liaison, Employee Relations, & Superintendent and School Board Briefings)
  • Student Services (Student Related Issues, District Investigations, Legal Counsel Liaison, Campus Administration Oversight on Student Discipline, Parent Relations, & Superintendent and School Board Briefings)
  • Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent as per the needs of the district.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
  • Texas Mid-Management or other appropriate Texas certification
  • Five years of successful public school teaching experience
  • Five years of successful public school administrative experience (campus level, or higher)
Salary Range:
Competitive Bandera ISD contributes $350 towards the employee's TRS Health Insurance
