Job Description
CCSI Case Coordination, LLC is searching for a Senior Information Service Specialist candidate for our McLean County Office and Outreach locations. The Senior Information Specialist is responsible for helping older adults and adults with disabilities apply for local, state, and federal programs. A suitable candidate will have a minimum of an Associates Degree plus 4 years of experience in customer service. Ideal candidates with have some experience in the Aging/Disability field. The ability to maintain participant and employee confidentiality is a must as well as operating office equipment and interacting professionally with other social service & community agencies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: answering phones in a professional manner, providing accurate information, assistance & referral to the general public, tracking and data collection of participant contacts, timely follow-up with participants & satisfaction surveys, conducting outreach/ public awareness activities, conducting Options Counseling and attending training as needed to stay updated on aging issues and certifications for SHIP, InformUSA, and Healthy Aging Class Leading. The SIS Specialist is expected to travel within McLean County to assist participants during home visits, at various outreach locations, and at venues to provide social connection and healthy aging programs. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and organizational skills while being comfortable complying with time frames, utilizing web-based applications and presenting workshops to small groups.
