Advocate SUMMARY:
Coordinate and assure continuity of services necessary for a client's success in the Transitional Housing Program through case management and counseling. Provide assessment, monitoring, planning, linkage and advocacy for the most appropriate services for clients enrolled. Effectively maintain and manage assigned caseload contingent on needs, strengths, and abilities of the client served. Adheres to all agency and grant requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in
Social Services, Counseling or Related Field, Valid Driver's License Experience Required :
1-5 years' experience working with families in crisis Experience working with DV Victims 3-5 years of job-related experience. Experience in residential setting/group home (Preferred) Strong Project Management and personal workflow skills. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Bilingual, Spanish speaking and writing (a plus)

Work autonomously and productively Highly organized, strong attention to detail Commitment to non-violence within families and homes Problem Solver, team member and sound judgement Outstanding leadership, interpersonal and problem- solving skills. Must have the ability to create a comprehensive plan and follow through on each detail. This person must be highly organized, have excellent relationship building skills and experience, and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.
