We are now looking to hire Youth Support Specialists to work 3-20 hours per week at our Mishawaka campus. What We Offer Hourly rate for this position is $17.04. $1.75 weekend shift differential. Work life balance Behavioral health assistance Regular supervision What You'll Do in the Youth Support Specialist position: Multiple openings for 5-8 p.m. and 8-11 p.m. weekdays and all times on the weekend, starting with three hour shifts. Must complete 30+ hours of paid training. Training schedule is a blended learning model with classroom, virtual, and online sessions.

Job Duties :

Build and maintain positive rapport with youth Respond quickly and effectively to highly stressful situations Stress management and conflict resolution skills a plus (training provided) Accompany youth to cafeteria during mealtimes Engage in outside activities such as sporting games, walks, etc. Encourage and promote workout time Participate in inside sports and games in the main gym Engage youth in arts and crafts Support youth in their daily chores such as laundry and cleaning Encourage youth to follow unit rules and structure Provide problem solving tutoring to clients to help them cope with their struggles Teach and encourage communication and use of coping skills

Requirements :

High School Diploma/GED required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license recommended
