Job Description

Pay Range:
$28.78-$39.70 (Top pay includes longevity pay up to 9% after 20 years) Seeking applicant(s) for Full-time day shift Community Service Officer for the Dayton Police Department.
Duties include:
Animal and city ordinance calls for service, prepare reports, respond to distress/emergency calls, administer first aid, investigate incidents, and assist sworn Peace Officers when needed. Other CSO type duties with emphasis on Community Oriented issues.
Requires:
High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum 18 yrs. of age. Valid Minnesota Driver's License with satisfactory driving record. No prior criminal record or history. Experience dealing with the public. Good communication skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and on short-notice.
