East Brunswick, NJ Salary:
$55,000•$60,000 per year
Responsibilities:
The Family Intervention Specialist will work closely with youth and families referred by DCP&P and provide evidence-based interventions within the home and/or community based on the Youth Villages Intercept model•this includes conducting assessments to determine needs and strengths of the family and youth; safety evaluation; service planning; service coordination; and on-going sessions. Some client transportation is needed with company car. The Specialist will participate in required trainings as well as team meetings and one on one supervision.
Requirements:
Master's degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred•OR•Bachelor's degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management required Personal vehicle use may be needed for some community work. Must be willing to work evenings, as needed.
