Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes and empower decision-making. Collaborate with behavioral health professionals, social workers, and addiction counselors to coordinate care and resources. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions using electronic health record (EHR) systems while respecting confidentiality standards. Mentor clients through skill-building activities that promote social engagement, self-care, and relapse prevention. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral health, mental health counseling, and addiction counseling principles. Proven ability in crisis intervention and crisis management with calmness and clarity under pressure. Excellent mentoring skills with a compassionate approach that fosters trust and rapport. Proficiency in motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate client engagement. Familiarity with social work practices and the use of EHR systems for documentation. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support diverse populations.
