Youth Group Coordinator Job Description Job Title:

Part-time (Approximately 10-15 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Youth Group programming (Sundays 12-2 p.m. and related preparation) to support a sustainable and healthy youth ministry. This goal will be accomplished by sharing leadership responsibilities and ensuring consistent, relational Youth Group programming alongside the Youth Director.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

Plan, lead, and oversee Youth Group programming, typically held from 12-2 p.m. Coordinate games, discussions, and experiential activities Manage and update youth ministry social media accounts (posting schedules, reminders, photos, and highlights in accordance with Safe Gathering guidelines) Promote youth events and activities through approved digital platforms Communicate regularly with the Youth Director for alignment and continuity Collaborate on special events, retreats, fundraisers, seasonal, and church-wide programs Provide coverage as needed during vacations, illness, or unexpected situations Other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build positive, Christ-centered relationships with middle and high school students Help create and maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment Welcome and accept youth regardless of race, gender, orientation, place of origin, family situation, or disability

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

(Suggested Measures of Success) Level of youth participation and interest in Youth Group activities as measured by attendance records and satisfaction surveys of youths and their parents Timeliness of communications of events that impact Youth Group members Quality and recency of postings on social media and other digital platforms

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Prior experience in a Youth Ministry position or a Bachelor's degree in a related field Proficient in social media and virtual apps/platforms Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written Successful background check
