Crossroads Behavior Consultation, LLC Winnemucca, Nevada Full-Time | Monday-Friday Compensation commensurate with education, experience, and applicable certifications Begin a New Career in Applied Behavior Analysis Crossroads Behavior Consultation is seeking a bachelor's-level professional who is interested in transitioning into the field of applied behavior analysis and becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is not intended to be a traditional long-term Registered Behavior Technician position. It is a structured 18-24-month professional development pathway for a motivated candidate who wants to build a career as a behavior analyst. The selected candidate will begin by completing the training and credentialing requirements to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Within the first four months of employment, the candidate will be expected to enroll in a qualifying master's degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis that meets current BACB coursework requirements. As the candidate progresses through graduate school and demonstrates clinical competency, they will have opportunities to advance into a Behavior Analyst Intern position. Crossroads will provide mentorship, professional development, supervised clinical experience, and educational support throughout the candidate's progression toward BCBA certification. Professional Development Pathway Stage One:

ABA Career Pathway Associate During the beginning stage of employment, the candidate will: Complete required RBT training Complete the RBT competency assessment Obtain RBT certification and required Nevada credentialing Provide one-to-one ABA services under BCBA supervision Learn to implement individualized treatment programs Develop skills in data collection, documentation, reinforcement, prompting, skill acquisition, and behavior reduction Participate in structured training and performance feedback Apply to and enroll in a qualifying master's degree program in Applied Behavior Analysis within the first four months

Stage Two:

Behavior Analyst Student Intern As the employee progresses through graduate coursework, supervised fieldwork, and internal competency requirements, they may advance into a Behavior Analyst Intern role.

Intern responsibilities may gradually include:

Assisting with behavioral assessments Conducting structured client observations Reviewing and graphing clinical data Helping develop treatment materials and skill-acquisition programs Participating in treatment planning Supporting caregiver and staff training Learning to evaluate treatment effectiveness Developing functional behavior-assessment skills Practicing clinical writing and professional presentation skills Supporting RBT development under BCBA oversight Completing eligible supervised fieldwork activities Preparing for independent practice as a BCBA Progression is based on academic standing, demonstrated competency, ethical conduct, job performance, supervisor availability, and compliance with applicable certification requirements. Primary Responsibilities Provide individualized ABA services to children Build positive and professional relationships with clients Implement treatment programs developed by a BCBA Teach communication, social, play, learning-readiness, and daily-living skills Follow behavior-support and safety procedures Collect accurate and timely clinical data Complete required session documentation Prepare treatment materials and maintain an organized environment Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and coworkers Attend training, supervision, and team meetings Accept and apply coaching and performance feedback Maintain client dignity, confidentiality, and professional boundaries Demonstrate consistent attendance and dependable weekday availability Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social sciences, human services, early childhood development, or a related field Commitment to earning a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Willingness and ability to enroll in a qualifying graduate program within four months of employment Interest in pursuing BCBA certification Willingness to obtain RBT certification and required Nevada credentialing Strong interpersonal skills Ability to establish rapport with children, families, and coworkers Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependability, organization, and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as part of a clinical team Ability to pass required background and employment screenings Ability to perform the essential physical responsibilities associated with providing services to children Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities Professional experience in education, special education, speech and language services, social work, early childhood education, behavioral health, or human services Experience collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams Experience collecting data, writing professional documentation, or implementing individualized plans Long-term interest in serving children and families in rural Nevada Educational and Clinical Support Crossroads is committed to developing knowledgeable, ethical, and effective behavior analysts.
