Residential Specialist - La Posada Family Emergency Shelter, Toledo toledodiocese Toledo, OH Job Details 19 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer communication High school diploma or GED Driver's License First Aid Certification Full Job Description Position Objective The Residential Specialist is responsible for maintaining a positive living environment for house guests residing in the facility. They ensure that the facility's ongoing order, cleanliness, and safety are maintained. They provide customer-friendly service to our house guests while ensuring that everyone follows house policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responds to the needs of our house guests and provides customer-friendly service. Ensure that our house guests follow house policies and procedures and complete assigned housework. Communicates information pertaining to periodic house meetings, reminds housemates and neighbors about house activities and workshops, and ensures they are respectful to housemates and neighbors. Carefully follows and completes the detailed work specified in the La Posada "Shift Duties and Responsibilities" document. Completes administrative duties, including, but not limited to, assisting new house guests in completing the intake process, answering phones, and greeting visitors in a courteous and friendly manner. Must maintain daily activity logs and reports, communicating necessary information to Case Managers and Program Coordinator. Maintain open lines of communication with all colleagues regarding house operations and maintenance. Performs other related duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required. At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a social services environment is desirable. Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word. Maintain a current driver's license and be willing to travel within the Diocese of Toledo.
