Job Description

Mobile Crisis Worker - Casual Position (up to 28 hours/week) Center for Community Resources Clarion, PA Want to work for an agency that's been voted Best Places to Work for 11 consecutive years with excellent benefits and competitive salary? Center for Community Resources Crisis Intervention Services is looking for a compassionate mental health professional. Crisis Intervention services include telephone and mobile assessment, crisis counseling, conflict resolution, referral and linking to community resources. Work in a supportive team environment while helping people access mental health/drug and alcohol services in Clarion, PA. This is a casual position, evening/overnights. Must be flexible to cover weekends responding to mental health emergencies. Crisis Intervention services operate 24/7, 365 days year, so willing to help out as needed. The starting salary for this position is $21.54/hr. We also offer a possible higher salary based on experience. Crisis Intervention Specialist can work on call to respond to the community. The On-Call hourly rate is $23.00/hr and we pay a primary stipend of $400.00 per week when covering on call for one full week and $200.00 for Secondary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field. With major course work in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, history, criminal justice, nursing, counseling, education, theology, political science or related field AND one year experience in mental health field required. Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, Act 33/34 and FBI clearances will be required. Individuals who have accessed human services are encouraged to apply.

Act 33/34 and FBI Clearances. Valid Driver's License. Car Insurance Coverage Verification.
Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Have lived experience with a mental health disorder and have maintained two years of stability while living with a mental health diagnosis.

Able to exercise sound judgment. Flexibility in scheduling. Take the initiative while being cooperative and empathetic. Maintain strict confidentiality.
