In this energetic position, you will serve as a bridge between healthcare providers, patients, families, and community organizations, promoting hospice services with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your proactive outreach and relationship-building skills will help ensure that patients receive compassionate care tailored to their needs, while also expanding awareness of hospice options in the community. Duties Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, clinics, physicians, and community organizations to promote hospice services. Conduct engaging product demonstrations and informational sessions about hospice care options for healthcare professionals and community partners. Negotiate partnerships and agreements that align with organizational goals and community needs. Provide clear, detailed communication about hospice services, ensuring all stakeholders understand the benefits and processes involved. Manage accounts by tracking referral activity, follow-up communications, and service delivery metrics to optimize outreach efforts. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care transitions smoothly and efficiently. Utilize analysis skills to evaluate outreach effectiveness, identify opportunities for growth, and develop strategic plans for increased community engagement. Experience Proven experience in Hospice and outside sales or account management within medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare-related fields. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to foster long-term partnerships through effective communication and relationship management. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, schedule visits, and track outreach activities accurately. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to convey technical information clearly and persuasively. Experience in customer service roles that require active listening, empathy, and problem-solving capabilities. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) for creating presentations and reports; analysis skills for evaluating outreach data are a plus.
