Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Hospice Community Liaison, where you will serve as a vital bridge between our hospice services and the community. In this energetic role, you will actively engage with healthcare providers, patients, families, and community organizations to promote understanding of hospice care options. Your leadership and communication skills will drive outreach efforts, ensuring that those in need receive timely, respectful, and comprehensive end-of-life support. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful difference while developing your expertise in medical sales, account management, and community relations. Duties Develop and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations to increase awareness of hospice services. Conduct engaging product demonstrations and educational sessions to inform stakeholders about hospice care benefits and processes. Identify potential referral sources through proactive outreach and negotiation strategies to grow the hospice's community presence. Manage key accounts by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth patient transitions into hospice care while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Analyze referral patterns and community needs to tailor outreach initiatives effectively. Prepare professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and detailed reports utilizing Microsoft Word to communicate insights and strategies clearly. Experience Proven experience in outside sales or B2B sales within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of building long-term professional relationships. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively convey complex medical information to diverse audiences. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing accounts or leading outreach campaigns. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and organizational tools for analysis and reporting purposes. Background in medical sales or pharmaceutical sales is preferred, with an understanding of healthcare systems and terminology. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, schedule visits, and follow up efficiently.
