Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including: Conducting culturally sensitive assessments and creating tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families. Facilitating therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to aid clients in skill-building and resilience. Developing crisis, safety, and wellness plans for clients experiencing acute challenges to ensure they receive structured support and interventions. Maintaining accurate and confidential client records as per legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address client needs holistically and referring clients to community resources as appropriate. Actively participating in team meetings and training sessions to share insights, improve practice approaches, and support colleagues. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve working with a diverse set of clients, including individuals and families facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns. In addition, you will engage with marginalized communities, reinforcing the organization's commitment to culturally responsive care. Your insights and interventions will significantly contribute to enhanced client outcomes and overall community well-being. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates must possess: A Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field. A current and active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license in Virginia. Demonstrated proficiency in addressing complex client needs through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients and collaborative work with team members. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with a strong background in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and working with diverse populations will be highly regarded. Previous experience in telehealth is also advantageous as we provide flexible remote services. Compensation and Benefits The position offers an attractive salary range of
USD 100,000 - 110,000
annually, commensurate with experience.
