Job Description
The goal of the Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA Program is to build a better Wisconsin by assisting local organizations to increase the capacity and sustainability of programs focused on alleviating poverty. Member Duties :
You'll cultivate a welcoming volunteer environment, providing support and training to retain volunteers and grow the program, enabling Oshkosh to build mores homes. 1)VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT
Increase Habitat's community of volunteers, focusing on construction volunteers but coordinating with the ReStore VISTA as needed. Develop a recruitment plan, with specific strategies for recruiting Core Volunteers. Provide support as needed with scheduling. 2)VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT
Foster a positive volunteer experience, increasing retention and community support for Habitat's work and mission. Review training curriculum, volunteer appreciation, and data collection; make updates where needed. Develop a definition and guidelines for Core Volunteers.BENEFITS
