Job Description

Description At Pine Haven Christian Communities, our volunteers are an extension of our mission to provide compassionate, Christ-centered care. As our Volunteer Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in connecting caring individuals with meaningful opportunities to enrich the lives of our residents. If you are passionate about building relationships, organizing events, and inspiring others to serve, we'd love to have you join our Life Enrichment team.
Status:
Part-Time (40 hours per pay period - every 2 weeks)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends for special events and volunteer activities
Pay Range:
$20.60-$22.43 per hour, based on experience Requirements As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will: Recruit and support volunteers. Build relationships with churches, schools, community organizations, and local groups. Coordinate volunteer schedules and ensure volunteers are matched with meaningful opportunities. Plan volunteer appreciation and recognition events. Maintain volunteer records and program documentation. Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to support resident-centered programs. Support special events and Life Enrichment activities throughout the year. The ideal candidate is someone who: Has a heart for serving others and supports Pine Haven's Christian Mission, Vision, and Values. Enjoys connecting with people and building lasting relationships. Is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities. Has strong communication skills in person, over the phone, and through email. Is comfortable coordinating schedules, events, and volunteer activities. Works well independently while collaborating with a variety of departments.
