Substance Abuse Specialist COPE Community Services, Inc. - 3.3 Tucson, AZ Job Details Full-time $19 an hour 11 hours ago Benefits Wellness program Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Flexible spending account Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Addiction counseling Substance abuse treatment center experience Driver's License Bachelor's degree Substance abuse Working with individuals with substance use disorders Full Job Description Under general supervision, the Substance Abuse Specialist will provide direct supervision for substance abuse treatment, group facilitation, pro social and case management support to adolescents participating in opiate addiction treatment (MAT). The Substance Specialist will administer the selected evidence based curriculum and assist in the continuum of care. This position is responsible for facilitating the Youth IOP groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college plus one (1) year full-time experience providing substance abuse treatment services. A valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
State or national certification or licensing preferred (this is not required) Spanish speaking with experience working with the bilingual community (Spanish/English).

Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ driver's license with a "clean" or "acceptable" driving record. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. This is a Safety Sensitive Position. Pursuant to the AZ Drug Testing of Employees Act
