A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

30 PM - 10:00 PM

Twin Town Treatment Centers and its staff are committed to arresting the downward spiral created by the progression of the disease and providing a bridge on which the client, their family, and associates may begin the process of personal healing, development, and renewal. Qualifications Registered or Certified Substance Use Disorder Counselor Currently in or have completed education specific to Substance Use Disorder Counseling - NO
EXCEPTIONS
Experience in facilitating ASAM assessments Proficient in HIPAA regulations and medical terminology Experience with discharge planning and medical records Familiarity with utilization review processes Background in outpatient care settings Experience in addiction counseling Preferred experience in PCNX Job Responsibilities will include: Group Facilitation Individual Sessions Treatment Plan Development ASAM Assessments Crisis Intervention Documentation Case Management Orientations & Intakes Coordination of Care/Referrals Utilization Review Wage is based on experience (general range $23 - $27 per hour)
