Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SUD Treatment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the social model concept of treatment and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. This role requires patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and guidance to clients through withdrawal management, and residential treatment. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assist in the client's goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records. Conduct drug tests and room searches every week. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Provide transportation to the clients as the need arises.

Qualifications:

Registered or ready to register with an appropriate governing agency such as CADTP or CCAPP. Basic knowledge of the social model concept of treatment. Compassion, empathy, patience, and understanding when working with individuals with substance use disorders. Must be fingerprinted and pass a background check. Must have a valid driver's license. Obtain a CPR/First Aid certificate. Provide proof of a TB test within the last six months. Flexibility to work varied shifts based on availability.

$16.90 - $18.00 per hour
