Job Description

Lucid Oceanside is a boutique mental health and substance use treatment program offering every level of care, from detox through outpatient. We're small by design: a tight-knit clinical team, a luxury setting, and enough continuity that you can meet a client on day one of detox and still be in the room on day 150 when they graduate. We are a therapy-first company. Our CEO is also the Clinical Director, and that shapes how we operate. Clients here receive above the amount of therapy typically allotted in these levels of care, and in many cases we approve sessions far beyond what insurance will pay for, simply because the client needs them. Your clinical judgment is respected and your profession is taken seriously. The Role
  • Individual therapy with clients across all levels of care
  • Designing and facilitating creative, engaging process and skills groups
  • Following clients through the entire arc of treatment, from detox to graduation Schedule Part-time, 10 to 20 hours per week.
Individual therapy hours are quite flexible. You coordinate directly with your clients and the treatment schedule to find times that work for both of you. Locations Our outpatient office is near the Oceanside Harbor. Groups and sessions also take place at our residential property, an estate roughly 15 to 20 minutes inland. Both sites are an easy drive from North County. What We're Looking For
  • Full California licensure required (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC). This position is not open to associates or interns.
  • High energy and real enthusiasm for group work, including the creativity to build groups clients actually want to attend
  • Experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment
  • Someone who wants to know clients over months, not just sessions Why Therapists Stay You will not be a billing unit here. You'll carry a small caseload in a beautiful setting, with leadership that is clinical rather than purely administrative, and the freedom to give clients the depth of therapy they actually need. If this sounds like a good fit, we would love to hear from you.
