Bilingual (Spanish) Drug and Alcohol Counselor - AOD, SUD Fourth and Hope Overview Description Fourth and Hope is seeking to hire full-time and part-time Certified SUD Drug and Alcohol Counselor(s) to join our talented staff at Walter's House, an inpatient residential drug and alcohol (AOD) treatment facility, located in Woodland, CA. Fourth and Hope is looking to hire as soon as possible. Summary The Drug and Alcohol Counselor (AOD/SUD) will have a case load assigned to them and will be responsible for facilitating groups, as well as one on one counseling sessions. This is a registered/certificated position and requires in good-standing registration/certification through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) or the California Association of DUI Treatment Programs (CADTP) and maintain an active
RADT, CADC-CAS, CADC I, CADC II, CADC
III or
SUDCC. LCSW
Supervision available for for ACSWs, AMFTs, and APCCs Responsibilities - Drug and Alcohol Counselor
AOD, SUD
Provide one on one counseling and case management sessions; Facilitate and co-facilitate group counseling and educational sessions; Keep and maintain detailed treatment and progress notes; Develop appropriate plans for treatment based on individual history, needs; Provide appropriate referrals and act as a client advocate, when appropriate; Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients, when appropriate; Qualifications - Drug and Alcohol Counselor AOD Maintains in good-standing
RADT, CADC-CAS, CADC I, CADC II, CADC
III, or
SUDCC, MFT, CSW
etc. Proficiency in Spanish, as well as English, is highly desirable; Previous experiencing in counseling, social work, or other related fields; 3+ years of experience in AOD in a residential setting, preferred Exercises mature judgment and projects a professional demeanor; Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills; Excellent professional and personal boundaries with clients; LCSW Supervision available for ACSWs, AMFTs, and APCCs Other Requirements -• Drug and Alcohol Counselor

• Must possess current and valid California driver's license, transportation; Upon hire, employee will be required to complete pre-employment drug screen, physical, background check and live scan, TB clearance Shall maintain CPR/First Aid Certification;
