Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Percentage:
100% Work calendar days: 188 Duration of position: One Year Only Benefits include: Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, access to employee walk-in clinic, as well as other optional benefit elections. Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10th, 2026). This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status. Must have a valid Colorado Educator's License with appropriate endorsement.
