The CAC I will assist with client education, counseling support, recovery planning, documentation, and care coordination. Key Responsibilities Provide SUD counseling services within the scope of CAC I credentialing. Assist clients with recovery goals and relapse prevention planning. Support group counseling, psychoeducation, and recoveryfocused activities. Complete progress notes and required documentation in the EHR. Participate in treatment team meetings and supervision. Monitor client participation and report concerns to clinical supervisors. Follow
ASAM, SUD
program requirements, HIPAA, and confidentiality standards. Maintain professional boundaries and protect client information. Qualifications Active or eligible CAC I credential in Washington, DC preferred. Experience in addiction treatment, recovery services, behavioral health, or human services preferred. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to follow supervision, treatment protocols, and agency policies. Must be dependable, respectful, and clientcentered.
