Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Substance Abuse Counselor We're looking for a Substance Abuse Counselor to join our ACT team—an amazing group of counselors, nurses, therapists, and case managers—supporting adults in the community dealing with substance use and mental health challenges. In this role, you'll: Complete assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and histories Provide one-on-one and group counseling Offer crisis support and interventions Connect clients to helpful resources like AA and community programs Be an advocate for your client's needs
