A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Addictions Therapist to join our Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CD-IOP). In this role, you will provide structured, evidence-based therapeutic support to individuals navigating substance use disorders, helping them build sustainable recovery and long-term wellness. This position is located at our Deaconess Cross Pointe Outpatient in Evansville, IN. This is more than a clinical position—it's a chance to be a steady force in someone's journey toward healing, stability, and renewed purpose!
Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Licensure (LCSW, LCAC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) required Credentialing in Addictions required (LCAC, LAC, CADAC II, III, IV or
V, APIT, ICACI, ICACII, NACA
I or II, or MAC)
