Baltimore, MD Job Details $30 - $36 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification First Aid Certification Substance abuse Full Job Description Addictions Counselor/ CSC AD The Addiction Counselor provides support to the I.O.P. , O.P and P.H.P. 3.1 and 3.3 Program of Therapeutic Wellness Services (TWS). Responsibilities Carries a client caseload as assigned. Responsible for determining the client's strengths/weaknesses and needs to assist clients in developing a treatment plan within 7 days of admission. Monitors and documents assigned client's progress toward the treatment plan. Provides alcohol and drug education in counseling sessions. Must keep client records up-to-date. Responsible for assuring that assigned clients are given random urinalysis according to State and Federal guidelines. Responsible for client confidentiality as regulated by Federal guidelines. Conduct Intake Assessments. Attend weekly supervision meetings and any other supervision that is required. Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications Current CPR and First Aid Certificate. Pass a criminal background check and CPS check. Writes clearly and informatively; able to read and interpret written information. Education/ Experience Licensed or certified as an alcohol and drug counselors by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; Approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or Licensed, certified, or permitted under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland to provide substance abuse treatment.
