We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional full-time Addiction's Counselor to join our team in a new Level 3.1 male location! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful independent living.
Responsibilities include:
Run
OP / IOP
substance use disorder groups. Complete substance use disorder assessments, treatment plans, group notes, & other clinical documentation under the supervision of an LCSW-C. Take part in a multi-disciplinary team to maintain excellent client care & treatment. Attain occasional trainings & maintain licensure requirements.
Qualifications include:
Active ADT, CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LMSW or LGPC license in the State of Maryland. At least 2 years' experience with a substance use disorder population. Computer literate & experience working in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Possess sound judgement, professionalism, & compassion for client care. Excellent documentation & communication skills. Familiarity with
DHMH / CARF
requirements.
