  • Full-time Meridian Health Services is currently looking to add to our Outpatient team! Do you have passion for helping people recover? Are you a Warrior for Recovery? We want you! Looking for full-time, substance use disorder and co-occurring disorder therapist for our Waterford outpatient location. Available schedule is Tuesday
  • Saturday, with flexible hours.
Salary is commensurate with licensure and experience. In addition to hourly rate, essential staff is being paid an additional $3.40/hour when working on site. $3000 hiring bonus payable after 90 days of employment in good standing.
REQUIRED DUTIES
Deliver group and individual therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model. Complete required billing documentation for both group and individual therapy sessions same day as occurrence. Complete required clinical documentation in accordance with the contractual requirements. Complete and revise person centered treatment plans. Provide a "welcoming" experience and exceptional customer service. Facilitate on-going case management with referring agents. Maintain an accurate and current treatment file on each client assigned to case load. Generate continued care referrals based on client needs. Conduct clinical assessments. Complete client's progress evaluations, clinical assessments, discharge summaries, letters to referral sources, and documents pertinent to case conference. Attend and participate in scheduled clinical supervision sessions. Attend all scheduled in-service training sessions. Know contractual requirements of each referring entity and maintain appropriate case files. Collect payment for services as needed. Work in conjunction with support staff to ensure that payment for services provided is received. Complete all required documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and accrediting agencies. Travel to various offices when needed. Other duties, as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree required. One (1) year practical experience providing substance abuse treatment. Experience in conducting individual and group counseling sessions. Clinical licensure in the State of Michigan (LLMSW, LLPC, LLMFT, LMFT, LPC, LMSW) CADC or CAADC certification or development plan preferred OR willingness to obtain
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments. Ability to develop measurable treatment plans based on assessments. Ability to facilitate open-ended, focused, process group therapy sessions. Ability to facilitate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sessions. Ability to use MS Office and other computer applications. Ability to reduce individual and group therapy sessions to constructive clinical case notes. Ability to conduct self in a professional and ethical manner. Addiction Treatment. Detoxification.
