This role is designed for clinicians who enjoy building meaningful relationships, working independently in the field, and helping individuals achieve lasting recovery beyond the walls of an office. What You'll Do As part of our Community Supports Team (CST), you will work alongside therapists, care coordinators, psychiatric providers, and community partners to support individuals with complex behavioral health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and helping develop individualized treatment plans Providing substance use counseling, education, and recovery-focused interventions Helping members strengthen coping skills, daily living skills, and relapse prevention strategies Supporting individuals in accessing community resources, healthcare services, employment supports, and recovery networks Participating in crisis planning and coordinating care across providers and support systems Monitoring progress and documenting services to support continued authorization of care Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team while maintaining significant autonomy in your daily work Building relationships with community organizations and behavioral health partners to expand support opportunities for members Why Clinicians Choose Pathways to Life Greater Independence Manage your day with the flexibility and professional autonomy that community-based work provides. Qualifications Required Credential Candidates must hold one of the following North Carolina substance use credentials: CADC
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor LCAS
  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist LCAS-A
  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate CCS
