Job Description
I. A. PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide clinical treatment to individuals within the SAIOP and SACOT programs.WORK SCHEDULE

N/AII. A. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES 1.
Provide clinical treatment to individuals within the SAIOP and SACOT programs under the scope of the employee's qualifications, certifications and licensure. 2. Implement Person Centered Plans of the individuals receiving services. 3. Ensure continuity of care for clients. 4. Provide case management to arrange, link or integrate multiple services. 5. Providing individual and group counseling using Evidence Based Practices. 6. Assisting patients with defining and achieving realistic goals. 7. Conducting monthly urinalysis screenings. 8. Providing crisis interventions as needed. 9. Assisting in peer-to-peer record audits. 10. Ensuring patient confidentiality. 11. Contributing to the ongoing assessment and treatment planning process through participation in daily reports, case reviews, and treatment team meetings.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITION
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) may need to work flexible hours.EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
High School degree or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must have at least one year of experience as a substance abuse counselor. Must be registered with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Certification board - applicants who are not registered will not be considered for employment. LCAS, LCAS-A, LPC, LCSW or CADC. LCAS or CADC license preferred. Experience treating opiate-addicted patients is not a requirement but is preferred. No legal impediments to serving in a licensed opiate treatment program. Must have a valid driver's license.SUPERVISION RECEIVED BY SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROFESSIONAL II
