Monday•Friday Two to Three nights evening groups till 8:00pm Pay Range $26.55•$39.85EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field of study with four years' experience in clinical substance abuse counseling and education required. Experience in research and education preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/orREGISTRATION
Certified in counseling substance abuse patients (Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker).ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Functions as a clinician in the counseling of patients by conducting evening therapy sessions, and developing treatment plans. Obtains authorizations from managed care organizations to assure reimbursement. 2. Coordinates and/or implements all operational policies and procedures related to the functioning of the program. 3. Represents the program to all related managed care companies and organizations. Establishes external contacts where chemical dependency health education services are needed. 4. Identifies, investigates and resolves client-related problems. Responsible for maintaining high clinical quality and outcomes of the program. 5. Participates in departmental teaching and research activities as appropriate. 6. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
