Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Part Time weekend Substance Abuse Group Facilitator and make a meaningful difference in individuals' recovery journeys. In this role, you will lead engaging group therapy sessions focused on substance abuse treatment, providing support, education, and motivation to clients working toward sobriety. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a dynamic environment committed to fostering positive change and empowering individuals to overcome addiction challenges. Your expertise will help create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their recovery, develop coping strategies, and build resilience. Individuls with Provisional License are also encouraged to apply Duties Facilitate structured group therapy sessions focused on substance abuse recovery using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral management. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to tailor group activities and interventions effectively. Support clients through crisis intervention, ensuring immediate safety and connecting them with appropriate resources when needed. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, intake forms, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations. while managing patient records and documentation. Skills Proven experience in addiction counseling, clinical counseling, or behavioral health settings with a focus on substance abuse treatment. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis, and behavior management techniques. Excellent crisis management skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and effectively.
