A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

FULL TIME POSITION AVAILABLE

$75K-85K Tuesday- Saturday Per diem position with a starting pay of $75-$100/hr. Job description Legacy Healing NJ is searching for the most qualified, empathic, compassionate, energetic, and passionate addiction professionals in the industry to provide comprehensive care for our clients.

Job Overview:

The Group Facilitator will conduct group psychotherapy sessions for our clients. They will help guide and direct clients during group sessions. The Group Facilitator will prepare group and individual notes that support clinical necessity and progress toward treatment plan goals.

Location:

Cherry Hill, NJ Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field 3 - 5 years substance abuse or related work experience

LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LCADC

Knowledge of State and Federal statues regarding patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA)
