- 9:00 About the Role A community-focused behavioral health organization in Randolph, New Jersey is hiring a Substance Abuse Therapist to join a collaborative clinical team.
This is a full-time position providing individual, group, and family counseling to clients navigating substance use disorders and recovery. An active New Jersey license, LCADC, LCSW, or LPC, is required to be considered for this position. What You Will Do Work directly with mental health, and substance use population. Use evidence based practice on therapeutic interventions with your clients, with documentation to reflect this. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine client needs and appropriate levels of care using ASAM criteria. Diagnose substance use disorders using DSM criteria and standardized assessment tools including the ASI. Develop individualized, client-centered treatment plans with measurable goals. Provide individual, group, and family counseling services. Evaluate client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as clinical needs evolve. Coordinate care with internal team members and external referral sources. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and records. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case consultations. Support discharge planning and aftercare coordination to promote continued client success. What We Are Looking For Ability to work with mental health, and substance use disorder patients at an outpatient level of care. Master's degree in counseling or a related field. Active New Jersey license, LCADC, LCSW, or LPC, is required. Strong clinical assessment skills with experience applying DSM and ASAM criteria. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care to clients in all stages of recovery. Compensation and Benefits Salary of $80,000 to $93,000 based on experience. Health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance. 401(k). This is a full-time, W-2 employee position.
