Job Description

OASAS Therapist - $55-$60K 35H workweek with onsite, field, remote plus mileage reimbursement Full-Time | Hope For Youth Hope For Youth is seeking a passionate and compassionate OASAS Therapist to provide substance use counseling and support services to children, adolescents, and families impacted by substance use. Join a collaborative team dedicated to helping young people and families build healthier futures through trauma-informed, evidence-based care. What You'll Do mainly Provide individual, family, and group substance use counseling services. Deliver services in homes, schools, community settings, and office locations. Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation. Utilize trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions. Collaborate with families, treatment teams, referral sources, schools, courts, and community providers. Participate in supervision, case reviews, trainings, and staff meetings. Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care. Provide transportation for clients when necessary. Maintain compliance with agency policies, professional standards, and OASAS requirements. How You'll Spend Your Time mostly 70% Direct client care and transportation 20% Documentation, reporting, and case-related meetings 10% Supervision, training, and staff meetings Qualifications Required LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psy.

D., or Ph.D. Limited Permit holders encouraged to apply (full licensure required by 2028) Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing Reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel (mileage reimbursement) Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic health records Preferred 1-2 years' experience working with children, adolescents, and families impacted by substance use Trauma-informed and evidence-based treatment experience Bilingual English/Spanish Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb stairs, complete documentation, and drive regularly throughout the community to provide services and transport clients as needed.
