Per Year Description:
We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide counseling services in the field of substance abuse treatment. This full-time position is based in Wainscott, NY and requires a commitment to fostering patient recovery through direct counseling and therapeutic interactions. The role involves working standard weekday hours.
Requirements:
Provide individual counseling and develop treatment/recovery plans. Facilitate daily activities and community meetings. Conduct therapeutic interactions to enhance social, cognitive, and behavioral skills. Supervise milieu staff and ensure a supportive treatment environment. Deliver psychosocial interventions and motivational interviewing techniques. Offer individual, group, and family counseling. Maintain comprehensive case records.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing. CASAC full required Minimum two years of experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment.
