Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated CDCA (Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders. Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' needs
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and art therapy
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Collaborate with licensed counselors and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care Experience
- Prior experience in addiction counseling or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of psychotherapy, group therapy, and addiction treatment modalities
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting
