Job Description
We are a faith-based substance abuse treatment facility committed to helping individuals overcome addiction and find lasting recovery. We offer Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services in a compassionate and supportive environment. Currently, we are seeking a licensed clinician with experience in individual and group counseling to join our dedicated team. Must hold one of the following:
LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC.
LSW and LPC preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan for clients Facilitate group therapy sessions, focusing on relapse prevention, coping skills, and spiritual growth Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress Conduct ongoing evaluations of client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients Provide education and support to clients' families, helping them understand addiction and recovery processes Stay informed about current research, best practices, and evidence-based interventions in substance abuse treatment
Qualifications:
Valid License to practice in the state of Ohio Experience in facilitating group therapy sessions in a substance abuse treatment setting Strong knowledge of addiction and recovery principles, including evidence-based treatment modalities Proficiency in conducting individual assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to working with individuals struggling with addiction Familiarity with faith-based approaches to recovery is preferred Understanding of ethical and legal standards related to substance abuse treatment and client confidentiality Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment We appreciate all applications; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
