Job Description
Job Summary Evolve Addiction Recovery LLC. is seeking a dedicated Substance Use Counselor to join our team, providing drug and/or alcohol support and guidance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various counseling techniques and settings, including outpatient substance use clinic-based services. Duties
- Conduct individual evaluations/assessments
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Utilize CBT/Motivational Interviewing/etc. techniques
- Document clinical records and treatment plans accurately
- Provide crisis intervention and management as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
- Implement special education strategies for clients with diverse needs
- Work in an outpatient setting Qualifications
- Proven experience in substance use counseling
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- Strong crisis management skills
- Familiarity with CBT and motivational interviewing
- Knowledge of special education practices
